MNCCS is proudly announcing, for the first time in MNCCS's 7 year history,
that 63 MNCCS students from K to 11 would be the recipients of MNCCS Scholarships
this year. The scholarships are to award students for their excellence in learning
Chinese and award the students who improved the most during the school year. The
scholarship will become an annual event for MNCCS.
We all know it is a difficult task to let our children learn the Chinese
language in this social and culture environment. We, as school administrators,
have been making every effort to titillate and promote the students' interest
and morals of learning Chinese and the scholarship is one of our measures in this
effort. To achieve this goal, we now announce that the scholarship will be an annual
event for the MNCCS students.
Thanks go to Mr. Zheng June of Promax Engineering, LLC, Mr. Zheng Lianggen of
US ChinaVisa, Ms. Pan Chonghua of Crown Properties, for their generous donations to
make the scholarship possible.
MNCCS students and parents, let's stand together and make effort collectively
to make MNCCS a better place for students to learn Chinese and to preserve Chinese
Culture and Traditions and make the school a place in which a student would say:
I had learned a lot and had a good time when they reminisce their studies in MNCCS
years later. We will make it happen and we can make it.
On March 18, 2007, Principal Xiaoying Cheng, Board Chairman Lianggen Zheng and
Vice Principal XianLi Huang went to each class and held a brief ceremony with classes.
Principal Cheng handed in the Certificate of Award and Scholarship to each recipient,
extended her congratulations to the recipients and encouraged other to follow their steps.
The ceremonies were well received.
